Our kaupapa (purpose) is to empower rangatahi to reach their full potential. We do this by delivering our skills strength-based Readiness to Work Programme (Rangatahi Mahere Whakapakari Mahi). Our programme is built around the Employability Skills Framework (Ministry of Education), alongside health and wellbeing, financial literacy, dress assistance and CV and Interview mentoring. The success of our programme is a testament to our commitment to Mana Taiohi, formerly known as the Youth Development Strategy. When our rangatahi graduate, we focus on bridging the gap between unemployment and employment. Following this, we transition our graduates into our pastoral care phase which provides additional and ongoing support/mentoring.
