Taupo Pathways kaupapa is to lead initiatives and programmes that advance education, training, employment and positive activities for young people to help them reach their full potential and find meaningful employment. We partner with local employers, iwi, youth services, schools and training providers who recognise the importance of young people having a plan and direction for the future. Offering various workshops and programmes, including: Licence to Work both in school programme and a 10 week LTW for unemployed youth. Pathways Connect workplace visits, Apprentice Connect supporting workplace trainees and apprentices. Taupo District Careers Roadshow showcasing tertiary and employment options to gather information for career planning.
