Jaron Vince,

Jaron is of Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Tamaterā and Tainui descent. He currently lives in Tararua; Tāmaki-nui-ā-Rua (Dannevirke).

Currently working for Tararua REAP as an Employment Liaison Coordinator and FINCAP Financial Mentor, Jaron is a fervent proponent of the Whole Person Paradigm as it relates to education, training, and employment. He is also passionate about helping rangatahi find their “thing” to assist them in developing their potential and to garner self-determination through purpose.

As the Tararua representative on the Manawatu-Whanganui Regional Skills Leadership Group, the Chair of the Tararua Skills and Talents Advisory Group, Jaron is dedicated to ensuring that the youth and rural voices are heard. He is eager to collaborate with everyone in finding and developing best practices and community focused systems to help youth transition from school into meaningful employment.
