Our Unifying Themes
Rangatahi are our future.
Rangatahi (young people) need to be central to working out solutions that impact them. Aotearoa’s skills eco-system must address inequalities in how Māori and non-Maori rangatahi secure a foothold in our labour market – our workforce must reflect the diversity of our rangatahi. Youth participation and responsibility in our community is critical to prosperity, wellbeing and equity for all.
The key to unlocking the social and economic benefits of youth participation is through organisations having cultures of inclusion. The new ‘business as normal’ must include the three pillars of sustainability; social, economic and environmental.
